With three biological and five adopted children, she's the real "Octomom." When she isn't working weddings, you'll find her at the gym, at concerts, exploring new places, or with friends and family.

Gregg

Officiant @thehytch

"My name is Gregg, and I am among the many great officiants here. I am a full-time Pastor, husband, and father. Officiating weddings is a great honor for me; being part of the union between two people and making their day as easy and memorable as possible. I have lived in the Reno area for over 10 years and love all the fantastic natural beauty that the area has to offer. My goal in officiating is to help you express your faith in God and love for each other. The adventure of officiating weddings with the Hytch in various locations and seasons is a huge bonus."

Behind the Lens

Ashleigh, Photographer at The Hytch

Ashleigh

Photographer @thehytch

A born-and-raised Nevadan with a passion for capturing love and authenticity. Ashleigh stumbled into photography taking a college elective to capture her kids as they grew, and realized immediately that real moments matter most. When she isn't behind the camera, you'll find her with her husband and three children, renovating their house, or dreaming up a grand adventure.

Ciara, Photographer at The Hytch

Ciara

Photographer @thehytch

Telling your love story through her lens is Ciara's favorite obsession, all about the in-between moments and emotive, candid shots you can look back on in ten years and still feel like yesterday. When she's not behind the camera, she's with her family, hunting for vintage finds, or obsessing over a new coffee shop.

The Good Dogs

Daisy, Security and Planner at The Hytch

Daisy

Security and Planner

As you enter the beautiful grounds of The Hytch at Sierra Water Garden, chances are you'll be warmly welcomed by one of our most beloved pup partners, Daisy.

A vital member of the team since 2022, Daisy is ten years young and loves love, quite literally. If you look closely, you'll notice the heart-shaped marking on the end of her nose, a perfect reflection of the love she shares so freely with everyone she meets.

Daisy's hobbies include tummy rubs, squirrel chasing, adventure days, and nose boops. When she's not on patrol, Daisy is more than happy to escort guests on their garden tours, proudly guiding them to the most scenic spots.

Whether she's working security, posing for pictures, or simply spreading joy, Daisy is truly a part of the heart and soul of The Hytch experience.

Benny, Security and Planner at The Hytch

Benny

Security and Planner

Meet Benny, part of The Hytch family since 2020.

Benny actually lived on the property for a couple of years and loved every moment of it. Her mom never believed she had Chihuahua in her blood, even though she definitely has the attitude to prove it.

She is best friends with Daisy, and the two of them spend time together almost every day. Benny still takes her job very seriously by greeting guests with her signature "bark bark" and making sure she's involved in the wedding planning process. We are pretty sure she's been trying to get hired as the flower girl for years, but so far, no one has given her the job.

When she's not supervising weddings, Benny loves zoomies, pup cups, and adventure days. One thing is guaranteed, she must give you a few kisses when you arrive at the garden. After that, the barking stops, and you're officially part of the family.
